Saturday January 6th, Dove Dental Peewee AE's invited South Huron to the yearly Carmeuse Lime Invitational.
On a chilly Saturday, the boys were ready for an exhibition game vs South Huron.
Period 1 seen plenty of skating up & down the ice, shots & great saves by both goalies. With 1:11 left in the period, #19 A. Krajewski found #12 L. Skevington who took a shot. #2 E. Cuthbert grabbed the rebound to flip it up over the goalie's shoulder. Period 1 ended 1-0 Express.
Period 2 seen much of the same as the first period. With 1:37 left, #9 K. Clifford passed the puck to #3 B. Wright who took a slap shot from the blue line. It took a bounce up over the goalie into the back of the net. Period 2 would end 2-0 Express.
The 3rd period seen South Huron outshoot Ingersoll by a large margin. At 11:17 South Huron was able to pull within 1. Then at 9:44 they were able to tie it up. #1 E. Spence was able to shut them down for the remainder of the game.
Game would end 2-2.
