Think Pink Night
On Tuesday October 17th your Dove Dental Pee Wee AE team welcomed Plattsville. There was a sea of pink in the stands & on the ice. All the proceeds from this night went to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The first goal of the game would come at 7:17 by #2 E. Cuthbert. Assists go to #14 B. Williams & #6 L. Dewit. Period would end with Ingersoll ahead 1-0.
Ingersoll came out flying in the 2nd period. There were lots of shots on net & scoring chances, but the puck just wouldn't find the back of the net. With 1:29 left in the period, #5 G. Folkema would take a shot that would bounce off the boards right to the side of the net where #14 B. Williams was waiting to put it in the net.
The third period would see lots of shots & chances, but no goals. #1 E. Spence was awarded a shut out for all of his amazing stops tonight. There was a lot of great back checking by the defense to help keep Plattsville off the board.
Final score: 2-0 Express. Way to go boys!
