‘A’ Division Game 6 –Ingersoll Express Novice LL1 Anderson Appliances vs Tillsonburg Tornadoes

1 st Period
Ingersoll opened strong at 9:05 Owen had a shot on the Tillsonburg net. At 6:52 Kyle made another
attempt. Logan made a save at 5:13. Another great try by Ingersoll at 4:23 with Blake chasing the puck
and shooting it from behind the net but our players couldn’t connect to get it in. The first and only goal
of the period came at 2:04 for Tillsonburg. Score 0-1
2 nd Period
7:40 Tillsonburg #76 received a penalty for tripping #16 Aaden. Kolton attempted a shot on Tillsonburg
while on the power play. Great defense work by #8 Teddy. Kyle had a breakaway but the Tillsonburg
goalie made a great save. At 5:50 Ingersoll scored our first goal of the game #9 Kyle. Score 1-1
3 rd Period
Tillsonburg got past our defense and got a rebound goal at 8:57. At 7:16 #9 Kyle got a goal to tie the
game back up assisted by #4 Owen and #14 Carson. Score 2-2. Tillsonburg took the lead at 7:06 and
the score was 3-2 At 6:06 Kyle made another attempt on Tillsonburg’s net but no goal. 5:43 another
save by Logan, Tillsonburg got by the defense again. Another two attempts on Tillsonburg’s net by Owen
and Ben. Tillsonburg scores again at 4:35. Logan stops the next attempt. At 2:35 Tillsonburg gets a
window and scores three goals in just over 30 seconds. It was great to see the team still try to rally back
and at 1:35 Ben passed to Blake who took a shot on net. With 58.9 seconds left Owen on defense
attempted to stop the puck but Tillsonburg got another goal. Not giving up without one last try Kyle
took a shot on net with 14 seconds left.
Final Score 2- 8
Lots of great plays and fantastic attempts on Tillsonburgs net, two great periods and some lessons
learned in the third.
Congratulations Kyle on two more goals, making it 19 this year, Owen on his 2 nd assist and Carson on 5th
assist of the year.
