Anderson Appliances Novice 1 Season Opener
It was a fantastic first game for the Novice LL1 - Anderson Appliances. The final score was 2-1 for the Ingersoll Express over the Paris Wolf Pack 1.
It was a fantastic first game for the Novice LL1 - Anderson Appliances. The final score was 2-1 for the Ingersoll Express over the Paris Wolf Pack 1.
The 1st goal went to the Paris Wolf Pack at 1:12 left in the first period and was followed shortly after by an unassisted goal by player #8 Teddy Schmitt for Ingersoll at 9.6 seconds left in the period to tie up the game.
Ingersoll scored again at 5:18 left in the second period. It was again an unassisted goal this time by player #9 Kyle Verhoeven.
The third period was a nail bitter, lots of attempts on both nets with a very near goal by Paris at the top of third with a great save by our goalie Logan Walters.
What a great effort by the entire team!
Congratulations to Teddy and Kyle on your first goals of the season and to Logan Walters who successfully blocked more than eight shots on net.
