On Tuesday Nov 10th the Ingersoll Canadian Tire Novice faced their toughest rival to date when they played the Tillsonburg Tornadoes 1 team.
The action started right from the puck drop. Although #30 Spencer Krajewski was on top of his game in net and Ingersoll rallied hard, it didn’t take long for Tillsonburg to set the pace of the game as they scored 2x. # 18 Carter Skevington scored on an assist from #11 Owen Lively but Tillsonburg scored one more to end the first at 3-1.
2nd period, Ingersoll got back into the game as Carter scored 2 more times to tie it up, with assists from #2 Ryan Wilson and #9 Kiefer Sim-Currah but the rest of the period belonged to Tillsonburg as they scored 4 more times the end the 2nd 7-3.
In the 3rd, Ingersoll held Tillsonburg to just 1 goal but with some missed opportunities by Ingersoll, Carter Skevington would be the only one to score on an assist from #7 Brandt Kloepher to bring the final score to 8-4 for Tillsonburg.
