The midget rep boys recently had two weeks without a game
giving them time to heal and recover from a busy schedule early on in the
season. Getting back to it they find
themselves in two games against two top teams.
Nov 1st – Ingersoll was at home finding themselves against an undefeated Port Dover team. Ingersoll came out flying in this game going up 3-1 midway through the second period thanks to goals from Dunn, Lednicky, and Zegers. Port Dover not one to give up, kept it close scoring with less than a minute left in the period to bring it back to a one goal game. Ingersoll working hard found penalty trouble early in the third giving up the equalizer, but Dunn does it again for Ingersoll finding the back of the net to make it 4-3. Port Dover took advantage of the penalty trouble Ingersoll was having and scored 3 unanswered goals taking the win 6-4.
Nov 6th – Ingersoll made the road trip down to Caledonia to play another undefeated team. This game moved so quickly and with almost no penalties took less than an hour to complete. Haggsma in net kept the boys close in this game making some outstanding saves and giving them a chance to compete. In the end Caledonia won 3-1. The lone goal for Ingersoll came from Graham with the assist going to Rizzo.
