Louie's Bantam Reps Advance in OMHA Playoffs
The Ingersoll Express Bantam Rep team has been busy lately after winning the SilverStick tournament playing in both Southern Counties and OMHA playoffs.
On Wednesday the 28th the Express traveled to Tillsonburg to take on the Tornadoes in Southern Counties beating them 4-2. Jayden Purdy played net and was a huge factor helping the Express win. Jacob Branderhorst scored the first goal and the other three were put in by Eric Savoie giving him a hat trick.
The Bantam rep team hosted Paris on the 27th in game 3 and lost a squeaker 1-0. Then on Saturday the 31rst The Express headed to Paris to face the Wolpack in an all important game 4. The game was rough and intense with both teams knowing a win was crucial. At 14:16 in the first Eric Savoie drove the ice and put the Express ahead by one. The game would go on back and forth with goalie Noah Robinson and the rest of the Express Playing fast and smart holding the Wolfpack off for the rest of the game until Savoie sealed the deal with a empty netter putting Paris out and advancing the Bantam Rep team to the second round against Ayr who the Express beat in the final game in the International Silver Stick Championship!
