Final Four Games in Review for Novice Local League Team Andersons Appliances
In the first of the final four games of 2014, Team Anderson Appliances faced off against the other Ingersoll Novice Local League Team Butterworths Monday night November 24, 2014.
Team Butterworths won the game 8-0. It was a friendly competition between the two Ingersoll teams. Better luck next time Team Andersons.


On Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014, Team Anderson Appliances played the Simcoe Warriors. Despite their best efforts, the Warriors defeated the Ingersoll Express team 8-4. The first period started off with #3 J. Robles scoring unassisted, and #5 G. Folekema assisted by #9 C. Groves. The Warriors scored three goals and took the lead 3-2.

The Warriors took their lead further with another two goals. The second period ended Warriors 5; Team Anderson Appliances 2.

Ingersoll picked up their pace in the third period. #11 C. Brownscombe scored assisted by #7 M Vervaecke. Simcoe came back with another goal. Two minutes later, #10 C. Skevington scored assisted by #4 Ashton Patterson. The Warriors slipped two more goals in the last two minutes in the game. Final score Simcoe 8; Ingersoll 4.

On Sunday, December 7th, Team Anderson Appliances went on the road to face the Simcoe Warriors. The tied the game 5-5. #10 C. Skevington started thing off assisted by #4 A. Patterson in the first period. The Warriors tied it up one minute later. With only forty seconds left in the period, the Warriors took the lead 2-1.

The Warriors spread their lead further with two more goals at the beginning of the second period. Ingersoll's #9 C. Groves slipped the puck into the net assisted by #7 M. Vervaecke and #14 E. Schram in the second period. Warriors 4; Ingersoll 2.

The excitement continued in the third period. Within two minutes, Simcoe scored giving them 5. Ingersoll rallied hard to get on the board. Halfway through the final period, #10 C. Skevington scored assisted by #12 O. Lively  and #18 R. Bryce. With only one minute left, #16 B. Huitema scored assisted by #10 C. Skevington and #8 A. Stratton. The crunch came on in the last thirty seconds of play, #10 C. Skevington scored his hat trick goal with a little help from #11 C. Brownscombe and #9 C. Groves. Game ended in a tie 5-5.

The final game was Tuesday, December 9th against the Langton Leafs. The scoreboard remained empty throughout the first period. Thirty seconds into the second period, #10 C. Skevington scored unassisted against the Leafs. Ingersoll did a great job of holding off the Leafs for the remainder of the second period. Langton took the advantage to the next level scoring three goals in the third period. Final score 3-1 for Langton.

Looking forward to seeing what Team Anderson Appliances has in the next half of the hockey season.
