DEC. 21 – Dorchester vs Ingersoll Pharmasave Tyke Select REMATCH!
On Saturday Dec. 21 at 7:00pm the Ingersoll Pharmasave Tyke
Selects had a home game in the Dorchester Community center against the
Dorchester Tykes. The Ingersoll
Pharmasave Tykes entered the game with 1 and 1 record so far this season and
with the momentum of their first win.
The First two periods were scoreless with both teams skating
hard at both ends of the ice. The
Ingersoll Pharmasave Tyke Selects consistently show improvements in their
positional play and passing. They matched the more experienced Dorchester Tykes
throughout the first and second periods.
17 seconds in to the Third period, the Dorchester Tykes got a quick goal when #12. L. Wilson finally got one in to the Ingersoll Net. One Minute later #12 – L. Wilson of Dorchester increased the lead by scoring his second goal of the game and increasing Dorchester’s lead to 2.
The third period just wasn’t the Ingersoll Pharmasave Tyke Selects period, at 8:54 mark of the third period; Dorchester’s #15 – O. Gray let a shot go that eventually made it to the back of the Ingersoll Net. Score was now 3 to Nil. Then again at 7:48 of the third period, the last goal of the game was scored by #15 – O. Gray of the Dorchester’s Tykes his second of the game.
Even though the Final score was Dorchester Tykes 4, Ingersoll Pharmasave Tyke Selects 0, the play during the first two periods proved that game could have gone either way.
The Ingersoll Pharmasave Tyke Selects are now preparing for their first tournament of the year in Dorchester. Keep up the hard work Ingersoll Pharmasave Tyke Selects!!!
