Hockey weekend.....
On Sunday October 20 we played at home against Delhi. The boys were pretty nervous about the game because it was our one and only loss this season a few weeks back. The boys played great and dominated the game for sure. The game ended with a tie of 3-3. The boys played really hard to keep the game close. We scored 4 minutes into the first period by Brayden Todd assisted by Jackson Vanegdom to take a short lead against Delhi. They fought back to tie up the game with less than a minute left in the first period. We came out in the 2nd period pretty strong but couldn’t stop them from scoring just nicely into the 2nd period.
We came back to score 2 goals close together with less than 4 minutes left in game by Brock Swain, assisted by William Norris and Bram O’Connor assisted by Brock Swain. That put us ahead by one but then they came back shortly and scored another goal to tie it up.
We were able to hold them down in the 3rd period and let no more goals take place to keep the scored tied at 3-3. Great game by the goalie, Brandon Baskette to keep us in the game. Great team work guys!
