Off to a Great Start
The CEPU Bantam are off to a great start for the season. We have won 2 out of 3 games to kick start the season. Our first game of the season was against Simcoe and we won with a tight score of 2-1. It was a well played game. The first goal was scored with less than 5 minutes left in the 1st period. Simcoe tied it up in the 2nd period but CEPU kept up the fight and scored the 2nd goal in the 3rd period. The goals were scored by Brock Swain assisted by William Norris and by Travis Mounsteven unassisted. Great game boys!
Our second game didn’t go as well and we lost 1-7 against Deli with our only goal being scored by Zack Ackert assisted by Brock Swain. A few days later we came back and played an awesome game against Port Dover. We won this game with a score of 5-3. Port Dover started the score off by getting a goal with less than 5 minutes left in the first period but we came back a minute later and tied it up with a goal from Bram O’Connor, assisted by Brock Swain. They scored in the 2nd period but we tied it up again with a goal by Brock Swain assisted by Tyler Mounsteven and then we got an extra one for some padding by Bram O’Connor again, assisted by William Norris and Zack Ackert. They tied it up again with a little more than 5 minutes left but we put them in their place 30 seconds later with a goal by Brock Swain unassisted. We then put another one in unassisted with 1 minute left in the game by Travis Mounsteven. Keep up the great work for another game filled weekend ahead!
