Strike 3
With a definite chill in the air, Ingersoll’s Verspeeten Cartage/Carmeuse Lime Pee Wee LL team hosted Six Nations at I.D.M.C Monday February 3. It was a tough and very aggressive game with Ingersoll getting their one and only goal at the end of the third period. Nolan Costa and Cole Millard assisted Owen Longlade in getting Ingersoll’s goal ending the game with a 5-1 loss.

The team’s next game was again a cold Monday night home game against Six Nations Feb 10th.  With not as an aggressive, the competition on the ice was still just as fierce. Six Nations started off with their first goal within a min of the first puck drop, followed by a second one with only 3 min left on the clock.  Ingersoll’s Nathan Graham scored unassisted to end the first period at 1-2.  The second period was intense as Ingersoll fought for a second goal and Six Nations playing defensively to keep the lead.  Six nations score their third goal near the end of the period.  Camden McDougall passes to Nathan Graham 30 seconds later to end the second period with a 2-3 score.  The third period was hard fought as Ingersoll plays offensively to get a third goal.  It was not meant to be as the final buzzer sounds with a final score of 2-3 for Six Nations.

The next night Verspeeten Cartage/Carmeuse Lime Pee Wee LL team head to Six Nations for their third game against them.  Another tough game that Ingersoll played well, despite some very physical opposition. As Six Nations scored a goal in the first and second period, Ingersoll rallied back in the third period with Camden McDougall assisting Nathan Graham in scoring Ingersoll’s first goal 30 seconds in.  With 12 seconds left on the clock Six Nations scored their third and final goal.

The team heads to Port Dover Wednesday night Feb 12th for an 8 pm game, followed by a home game Friday Feb 14th at 7pm against Thamesford.  Saturday Feb 15th the team travels back to Port Dover for a 6:30 pm game followed by another home game Monday Feb 17th at 8 pm where they will host Norwich at I.D.M.C.  A very busy week for the team, I look forward to seeing some more great action coming up from all the players!
