Tough Tournament for Ingersoll Canadian Tire Atoms
In the Round Robin style tournament, Ingersoll's Canadian Tire Atom 2 team had 2 chances to make it to the finals. And they fought hard, but were unable to pull out a win.
In the first game of the tournament, Ingersoll was against the Aylmer 1 team. Aylmer started off the game with a goal in the first 30 seconds of the first period. Ingersoll followed it up with one of their own by Mitchell Homenuik, assisted by Cam Dench and Eddie Ball. Aylmer came back in the following 2 periods with 3 more, final score 1-4.
During the second game, Ingersoll came back with more energy against Alymer #2. And with 3 goals scored, first by Cam Dench, second by Eddie Ball, assisted by Conner Kuhlman and third by Matt Dykxhoorn, assisted by Cam Dench. Aylmer #2 was on a roll, with the final score 3-6.
