Ingersoll Novices tie the OMHA Series
A goal with less than a minute left wins the game!

Ingersoll knew they would have to play better than they did in their first OMHA game against Paris to take the win.
Paris started the scoring putting one in the net late in the first period.
Ingersoll's Cohen Alexander (unassisted) took the puck end to end and slid it past the Paris goalie making it a tie game. Two minutes later Cameron Freeman, also unassisted, shot the puck from near the blue line, and the puck found the back of the net. Ingersoll kept the pressure on but Paris added another one to the scoreboard before the second period ended.
The third period showed lots of chances for both teams, but both goalies were robbing the players.
Just when it looked like we would be going into overtime, Cohen Alexander tipped a shot from Adam Van Dyk and scored the winning goal. Cameron Freeman got his second point of the game when he assisted on the winning goal.
Way to go Express!

Next OMHA game is in Ingersoll on February 18 at 7:00 p.m. Come on out and cheer on Ingersoll's Novice REPS!
