    C.E.P.U. Drops 2nd in a Row

Monday night, the Ingersoll Bantam LL C.E.P.U. team for the first time this season lost their 2nd game in a row to the visiting team from Six Nations.

Six Nations undoubtedly still hurting from the 3-1 they suffered at the hands of C.E.P.U. one week earlier came to Ingersoll on a mission to not be outplayed and not to be outscored.

Before the 5 minute mark of the 1st period Six Nations would get 2 pucks behind Josh Loranger which was 1 more than they had for the whole game when the 2 teams faced off in Six Nations.  Six Nations with pressure on the C.E.P.U. defence would get both the goals on open players in the slot leaving no chance for Loranger.  At 3:21 of the 1st period Brodie Warnock, unassisted, would pull Ingersoll within one goal of Six Nations, but that would be as close as they would get.

Six Nations on 2 goals from Kendrew Jacobs would put the game out of reach in the 2nd period.  With a 3 goal lead in the third, Six Nations would run into penalty troubles, but Ingersoll was unable to capitalize, even on a couple of 5-3 opportunities.

Jacob Vanderheide was awarded the teams Player of the Game as he showed a lot of hustle and determination against the bigger players from Six Nations.

Ingersoll's next game is next Sunday, January 27th at 3:00 PM when they travel to Norwich.
