Verspeeten Cartage Challenged By Burford

Cartage welcomes a team to their home ice in Ingersoll virtually every
Monday night. Monday December 3rd the welcome mat was rolled out for
Burford’s Peewee team.
The game was filled with energy and excitement on both sides of the ice, with both teams working hard to put a puck past the opposing goalie.
While Verspeeten was killing a penalty, Hailey Wright took the rush and brought the puck to the Burford zone, weaving between Burford defense, forcing the goalie to stop a short-handed shot. Meanwhile, Mark Tucker was doing a marvelous job of icing the puck every chance he could - making sure the penalty time was killed without Burford getting close enough to his goalie, Brodie Carbaugh.
In the end, Burford would take the win by a slim victory, with a final score of 4 to 2. Scoring for Verspeeten Cartage was Jacob Branderhorst with two goals, and with assists by David Timleck, Ethan Vlemmix and Graydon Macdonald.
