Thamesford Pizza Defeat Burford
On Tuesday Oct. 11th, Thamesford Pizza Bantam team started their regular season with a very convincing 5 - 1 victory over Burford. Matt Box scored Thamesford Pizza's first goal within the first minute of the game and they never looked back. Brodie Warnock got the lone assist on Matt Box's goal. Thamesford Pizza went up 4 - 0 in the second period with goals from Logan Underwood, Daniel Maloney and Jake VanKroonenburg with assists going to Jack Skillings, Jake VanKroonenburg, Logan Underwood and Colton Cameron. Brodie Warnock finished off the scoring for Thamesford Pizza mid-way through the third period. Kyle Cook and Josh Loranger shared goaltending duties and both goalies were forced to make some big saves to preserve the win for Thamesford Pizza.
