Verspeeten Cartage Peewees Play Final Game
Verspeeten Cartage Peewees played their final game of the regular season on February 28th when they faced off against Burford on Ingersoll ice.
The boys from Verspeeten Cartage worked very hard. However, the final game was not in the cards for these wonderful hockey players, as Burford took the win.
Verspeeten Cartage did stop Burford from a shutout, however, as Austin George was able to put one puck by the Burford goalie with the assistance of Nick Likins.
These boys have worked very hard this season. They should all be very proud of their personal and team improvements and achievements.
The team will be travelling to New Hamburg on March 25th, for a tournament. They have many practices until then, and opportunities to continue honing their skills. Come on out and see these boys in action, and cheer them on!
