Your Ingersoll Tirecraft LL hockey team played an exhibition game against your Ingersoll Canadian Tire on March 9 in a clash of the Atoms. When the final buzzer sounded, Tirecraft had won the game 6-1.
Camden
McDougall proved too much to handle throughout the game scoring a hat trick for
team Tirecraft. Colin Dench scored in
the second period on a rebound from a McDougall wristshot. Ryan Bruschetto scored a pair in the third
period and was a force all night with his smooth skating and stick handling
abilities. Devon Dell, Brent Fewster,
and Will Jones earned assists on McDougalls goals. Colin Van Dyk, Shaun Holt, and David Timleck
earned assists on Bruschettos goals.
Ethan Laporte and AP callup Owen Longlade played well defensively. Mark
Tucker scored for Canadian Tire with four minutes remaining in the game
assisted by Paul Shearer. Megan Longlade
earned the win in goal for Tirecraft making several saves.
Team
Tirecraft will continue to prepare for their upcoming tournament March 17th
in Mildmay, Ont.
