                              Tirecraft and Six Nations Battle to Tie  
On January 8, 2012 the Ingersoll Tirecraft Atom LL Hockey team hosted Six Nations. A large crowd witnessed these two teams battle a 2-2 tie.
Ingersoll would take a 1-0 lead midway through the first. On the play, Symon Hucheson would gain the zone with speed and pass to Devon Dell who would set up David Timleck who fired a high wristler to the top corner. Six Nations would tie the game before the end of the first.
The second period was like a parade to the penalty box with each team playing shorthanded several times. Ingersoll would score late in the second to take a 2-1 lead. Camden McDougall scored his team leading goal assisted by Colin Van Dyk and Ryan Bruschetto.
Six Nations scored early in the third to tie the score and set up a wild period with more penalties and scoring chances. Megan Longlade was strong in the net for Tirecraft making several key saves. Brandon Gordon was stopped on a breakaway after accepting a stretch pass from Will Jones. Brent Fewster and Colin Dench were great all night defensively and Shaun Holt continues to play well on offence.
