Ingersoll Thamesford Pizza brought a two game winning streak
into Delhi Thursday night and came home with a tie to stretch their unbeaten
streak to four games.
In the first two periods, the two teams traded goals. Delhi got on the board first, but Mason Schneider responded for Ingersoll less than a minute later. As the second period ended, Jeff Couse capitalized on the strong fore-checking of his line, only to see Delhi even it up a minute later. Owen Hill put Ingersoll ahead again with 7:36 left in the third period, but this was a game in which one goal leads would not be safe. Delhi pressed, ringing one off the post before drawing even with 2:31 left in the game. Ingersoll held on to maintain the tie, improving their post Christmas record to 4 Wins, 3 Losses and 2 Ties.
