Ingersoll Thamesford Pizza came up short in a close game Monday January 11.
The first period saw even play, with Waterford scoring first, as the period came to a close.
In the second, Ingersoll pulled even on a goal by Riley Voltaire, but Waterford came right back to regain the lead.
It was the same story in the third period, when Zach McVittie’s goal was answered by Waterford. Though Ingersoll had numerous scoring chances, including a Tristin Koster shot that rang off the iron, Waterford would score the final goal to preserve their victory.
