Ingersoll Thamesford Pizza defeated Port Dover at home on December 13.
Ingersoll got on the scoreboard first when Tristin Koster netted his sixth goal of the season midway through the first period. With just under five minutes left in the first, Zach Mc Vittie broke in behind the defense and ripped a hard shot under the crossbar. Port Dover would come back to tie the game early the second period, but then lost their momentum when one of their players was carried from the bench. When play resumed, Ingersoll scored three goals in short succession, with McVittie completing a hat trick and Koster adding his second. That would finish the scoring for the night, but not the drama. The game ended with a pugnacious and penalty filled third period. Final Score: Ingersoll 5, Port Dover 2
