On Wed. Nov. 25th Ingersoll’s Louie’s Pizza & Pasta Bantam Rep team easily defeated Tillsonburg 4-1 in their best overall performance of the season.
Jordan Travis had his second consecutive three goal game with Michael Nutt assisting on all three of the tallies.
Garret Maier scored the other goal for Ingersoll with Jacob Parkhill, Brett Nicholson and Graham Hall adding assists.
Randy Weatherhead played extremely well in net allowing just a goal by Gus Ford as Ingersoll outshot the Tornadoes 31-15.
On Sat. Nov. 28th Port Dover Steamers came to town and Louie’s increased it’s winning streak to 5 games in a row with a close 3-2 victory.
Jacob Parkhill, Michael Nutt and Jake Schneider were the goal scorers for Ingersoll with Dylan Robinson, Brett Nicholson and Quintin Pow adding assists.
Michael Hazen stopped 16 shots including a late breakaway to preserve the win.
The two wins increased Louie’s Pizza & Pasta’s record to 8 - 4 -1, good enough for third place in the league standings.
