Your Financial Partners Tie Tillsonburg at Home
This month has been a bit of a character builder for the Your Financial Partners PeeWee Reps...

Dec. 1 the team was in Delhi to take on the Rockets.  Dakota Lednicky started things up early in the second putting the pass from Brandon DeBruyne off the post and in, tying things 1-1.  Midway through the third Jeremy Racicot put it on the net from the point for Joel Couse who tucked it away and brought Ingersoll within one, though the game ended 3-2 Rockets.
Dec. 3 the teams were in Ingersoll for a rematch.  Thomas Larder buried one on his backhand off of the passes from Daniel Lindsay and Jeff Couse.  Late in the third Lednicky found the back of the net from Zach Staddon on the left side, but the final was again 3-2 Delhi.
Dec. 4 the boys were back in Delhi at the 44th Annual Tobacco Town Tournament but dropped the opener 2-0 to the Norwich Knighthawks.
Dec. 5 the PeeWees regrouped for a contest with the Simcoe Warriors.  Joel Couse carried it in around the net for Jeff Couse who landed a wristshot to put the team on the board early, though the Warriors took the match in a 3-1 final.
Later in the day Ingersoll met up with Dunnville’s Rivertown Flyers.  Goaltender Lucas Malchesky kept it close but the game ended 3-0 Flyers.
Dec. 6 the Express vied against the Embro Edge in their final game of the tournament.  Jeff Couse went top shelf off the pass out front from Chris Dimmers.  Luke Zegers followed suit off the helper from Larder, though the meeting concluded 7-2 Embro.
Dec. 10 the Tillsonburg Tornadoes blew into town for their first match-up of the season.  Dimmers hoisted one high on the right side from Jeff Couse and Joel Couse to bring Ingersoll within one.  Racicot put one just under the crossbar, unassisted, making the final score 2-2 despite a number of calls on both sides in the balance of the third.
Dec. 12 the Express rumbled into Tillsonburg for the rematch.  Lindsay fought back from a 3-0 deficit, lifting a pass from Mason Schneider behind the Tornadoes’ netminder.  Racicot let a rocket go from inside the line, bringing Ingersoll again within one.  The team took a tough one shorthanded in the closing minutes, and Tillsonburg tallied one more at the buzzer for a 5-2 final, though the score really didn’t reflect the boys’ hard-fought efforts.
Your Financial Partners have 2 games on tap this week: Wednesday they’ll be in Langton and Thursday at 8:10pm they’ll host the Simcoe Warriors.  Good luck, boys!
