CAW Local 88 Midget Rep Southern Counties Finalists
The CAW Local 88 Midget Rep team finished the season as Finalists inthe Southern Counties B Championship on Saturday April 4th.
The team played 7 playoff games with a 4-2-1 record to qualify for the Semi-Final game in which they defeated Cayuga 7-2 to advance to the B Championship. In the Championship game against Port Dover, the team fell behind 1-0 in the first period with a short handed goal against. Port Dover scored again with an unlucky bounce off of one of the Ingersoll players foot. Although the players demonstrated much effort throughout the game, the final score 2-0 for Port Dover. Best of Luck to all the players next year, as many will be vying for a spot on a junior team.
