“RETURN TO HOCKEY” 2020-21 SEASON REGISTRATION INFORMATION

There were many changes implemented by Hockey Canada for the upcoming season due to COVID19.

Programs- ALL age divisions will be teams of 9 players and 1 goaltender. Games will be 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 until authorized by the OHF to go to 5 on 5.  Tiering of each division will be reviewed if numbers allow.  There are no Rep travelling programs anywhere at this time until we move to the next phase, when mandated by Hockey Canada. At this time the Preschool program will skate once per week. The IP and Tyke programs will skate twice one week and once the next. Novice to Juvenile programs will skate twice a week. Parents being allowed into the arena will be restricted pending age divisions as per Hockey Canada, local health board and town implemented COVID19 restrictions.

Registration- You must re-register even if you have completed the pre-registration already. The pre-registration was so we could determine the interest. Registration is via the on-line registration format only which is available on the website: www.ingersollminorhockey.ca under the registration tab. Payments can be made on line via credit card or etransfer only. On-line registration is open and is to be completed by no later than September 16 2020 to allow for team planning. All registrations will be date and time stamped to ensure inclusion into a program on a first come basis and for wait-list purposes.

Late registration does not guarantee a place on a team, as programs will be set. Late registrants will be placed on a numbered waiting list and placed if vacancies become available. All new to OMHA parents must complete the “parent respect in sport course” prior to the season, link found on www.omha.net as well as Rowans Law (annually) link found on our webpage.

Registration Tab will be available Monday August 31st.

Registration payments –

All fees and required documents are due in full upon registration. Should COVID19 and Hockey Canada dictate a cessation of hockey programming a prorated partial refund will be given as per method of payment. Players who have not submitted documents or paid in full will not be permitted to participate during any ice time until such documents are received and registration is paid in full; this includes the completion of the parent respect in sport course (mandatory by OMHA). NO EXCEPTIONS THIS SEASON!
