Specialty Programs- The Initiation Program (IP) is designed for our youngest players (ages 3-5) to learn the basic skills required to play the game, this is not a “learn to skate” program. There are no league games in this division, there are fewer ice times and no allotment for referees, which is reflected in the registration fee.
Anyone wishing to try out for our Travel Program must indicate such at registration. A fee of $75.00 must be paid at time of registration. An A/E Program may be offered in various divisions if there is a high interest of players attending Rep tryouts and a talent pool is evident upon the opinion of outside evaluators. Final decision will be made by divisional conveners. Players must be released from the Rep. tryouts in order to be eligible to tryout for A/E. There is no guarantee of an A/E team. We will also be offering a Juvenile Rep. team if enough interest is shown, must register by July 30 to show intent.

Bond Hours- There will be a Performance/Security Bond requirement of $200 per family to be paid at registration via post dated cheque for March 30/18. Each family is required to complete volunteer time with their team, as well as within the organization. A minimum 10 hours for Novice to Midget is required for the first player and 5 hours for each additional player in the same family. Once your team hours are fulfilled, it will be a shared assigned effort by all team parents to fulfill the remaining volunteer duties for their child’s team. IP and Tyke are exempt but parents are encouraged to volunteer when required. There are many opportunities to earn hours within the organization for all, cheques will be cashed if requirement not met.

Registration- This season we will be completing registration via the on-line registration format only which is available on the website: www.ingersollminorhockey.ca under the registration tab. Payments are to be mailed to 200 King Hiram St. Ingersoll, Ont. N5C 1L8. We are currently looking into on line payments and if that becomes available we will post procedure on website. On-line registration is to be completed by no later than July 15/17. All registrations will be date and time stamped to ensure inclusion into a program on a first come basis and for wait-list purposes.
Late registration does not guarantee a place on a team, as programs will be set in July/17. Late registrants will be placed on a numbered waiting list and placed if vacancies become available. All new to OMHA parents must complete the “parent respect in sport course” prior to the season, link found on www.omha.net
