Verspeeten Cartage vs Langton - FINALS

This was a tough game for Verspeeten Cartage. In the opening minute, Langton scored the 1st goal of the game putting the pressure on Ingersoll. Langton gained three powerplays but Ingersoll worked hard and held them off.
In the second period, Ingersoll tied up the score with a goal by Tyler Goyette from a pass from Hayden Homewood. To close out the period, Verspeeten Cartage scored again to take the lead. This goal was by Tanner Moon assisted by Noah Schonberger and Kevin Cox.
In the third period, Langton scored to tie up the game. The Ingersoll boys managed to hold off Langton through one powerplay but unfortunately Langton used their next powerplay to their advantage and scored a goal. Verspeeten Cartage rose to the challenge and tied up the score in the final seconds from a goal by Zach Catry from Moon. This put the game into overtime.
Even though the Ingersoll boys fought hard, Langton managed to score first to take the gold.
Final score 4 - 3 Langton. Verspeeten Cartage Peewee's are the A division Finalists.
A great finish to a great season. Congratulations to the entire team for their success in the A division. You all worked hard and played extremely well together as a team.
