Fantastic Hockey Filled Weekend!
This past weekend was action packed for Canadian Tire Atom LL with three games in three days!
Friday January 28th, Canadian Tire Atom LL hosted Six Nations. Halfway through the first period Nolan Costa scored a great goal assisted by Zach Ackart. Second Period Canadian Tire continued the lead with a goal by Marcus Mederios assisted by Mark Tucker! Six Nations answered with a goal of their own at the beginning of the third period. With the score 2-1 Canadian Tire continued to push forward! Brayden Todd scores assisted by Hailey Wright. Not letting off, Nolan Costa scores again assisted by Hailey Wright and Brayden Todd! Six Nations scored with just over two minutes left. Not letting them have the final say, Mark Tucker scores assisted by Marcus Mederios! Way to go team! Final Score 5-2 for Canadian Tire. Great goal tending by Brandon Baskette. Congratulations to the MVP of the game Hailey Wright!
Saturday January 30th, Canadian Tire traveled to take on Tillsonburg Atom #1. It was an action packed game ending in a 4-4 tie. Scoring for Canadian Tire: in the first period, Hailey Wright as she pounded one into the net assisted by Graydon MacDonald! Second Period, Zach Ackert scored, assisted by Mark Tucker. Zach continued to play hard and scored again! Assisted by Hailey Wright and Tyler Mounsteven. Third period Brayden Todd scored an incredible goal assisted by David Timleck. Excellent goal tending by Leeland Lorange. MVP of the game was Mark Tucker
Sunday, Canadian Tire traveled once again, to play Tillsonburg Atom #2. It was another action packed game full of incredible passing and team work! Scoring in the First Period with an amazing goal was Zach Ackert, assisted by Mark Tucker. In the second period, Brayden Todd Scored unassisted! To finish the game in a 3-3 tie, Zach Ackert scored in the third period, assisted by Hailey Wright! Once again Fantastic goal tending by Brandon Baskette MVP went out to Justin Burns
