Season ends with Strong Effort
Ingersoll Thamesford Pizza ended the season with a strong effort against Simcoe on March 7.
In their three previous encounters with Simcoe teams after the Christmas break, Ingersoll had been outscored 17 – 5. This game, backed by strong goaltending, Ingersoll took a scoreless tie into the second period. Near the mid-point of that period, Simcoe scored two quick goals and added another in the third period. Ingersoll refused to quit, however. With the goalie pulled and less than a minute left, Riley Voltaire got Ingersoll on the scoreboard. Final score, Ingersoll 1, Simcoe 2.
