Louie’s Pizza & Pasta trounces Simcoe

The Louie’s Pizza & Pasta Bantam Rep team played home and away games against Simcoe Storm this week and came away with easy victories in both games.
On Nov. 12th Louie’s Pizza & Pasta rode into Simcoe and came away with a 7-0 win. Austin Kielt, Michael Nutt and Jordan Travis all had two goals each while Jesiah Sweetland notched the single. Assists went to Quintin Pow, Ryan Allard, Graham Hall, Jacob Parkhill, Jake Schneider, Sweetland, Nutt and Travis.
Louie’s Pizza & Pasta fired 48 shots on net while Michael Hazen had a fairly quiet night stopping all 8 shots he faced for the shutout.
Michael Nutt had the hot stick for the Louis’s Pizza when Simcoe came to Ingersoll on Nov. 14th scoring four goals and adding two assists in another lopsided 10-0 spanking.
Single markers went to Quintin Pow, Garrett Maier, Jake Schneider, Brett Nicholson, Garrett Anderson and Jacob Parkhill. Jordan Travis and Parkhill both had two assists while Ryan Allard, Maier, Nicholson and Anderson all chipped in with one helper.
Louie’s Pizza & Pasta outshot Simcoe 53-10 with Randy Weatherhead earning the shutout having to make some good saves on a couple of breakaways.
The wins finally put the Louie’s Pizza & Pasta Bantam Rep team over the .500 mark at 5 wins 4 losses and a tie.
