Ingersoll Falls Short by 2 in Waterford
On Friday night the Ingersoll #3 Peewee LL Carmeuse Lime & Stone team feel victims to the Waterford #2 Wildcats by 2 goals for the 2nd time in 2 weeks.
In the 1st period Ingersoll took the lead when Malcolm Rowe scored on a great backhand shot to beat Hannah Haviland in the Waterford net. Assisting on the goal from Rowe were Noah Schonberger and Kevin Cox. This would be the lone goal for Ingersoll on this night.
Waterford tied the game in the 2nd period on a goal from Ethan Haviland with assists going to Cassidy Henry and Ambrose Emmett-Iwaniw.
In the 3rd Waterford would score 2 more times with Cassidy Henry scoring the game winner while Conar McKenzie added one for insurance. Assist on the goals went to McKenzie, Haviland and Brady Schira.
Brady Harris played a strong game in net for Ingersoll, but could not hold off Waterford's attack on this night.
For the 2nd time versus Waterford #2, John Ryan was awarded the Hustler of the game for his strong game and hustle at both ends of the ice.
