Ingersoll #3 Nets Tie with Top Tillsonburg Team
Ingersoll got off to a slow start in their Tuesday matchup against the Tillsonburg #1 team. After a first period which saw Kenny Moodie, in net for Ingersoll, prevent Tillsonburg from getting on the scoresheet on a number of occasions, Tillsonburg still managed to jump out to a 2-0 lead. Tillsonburg goals were scored by Connor Wingrove and Mitchell Wass.
In the 2nd period, Adam DeBruyn of the Ingersoll team decided to take matters into his own hands as he tallied 2 times to draw Ingersoll even. DeBruyn's goals were assisted by Noah Schonberger, Brandan Fewster, John Ryan and Brady Soetemans.
Early into the 3rd period DeBruyn would complete the HatTrick on a feed from Jared Campbell and Johnathan Ager. Ingersoll would continue to lead until the 37 second mark when Dylan Bull pulled Tillsonburg even with the goaltender Tanner Stevens sitting on the bench.
Both teams played physical and treated the fans to a very entertaining game.
For his efforts, Adam DeBruyn was named Hustler of the Game.
