2nd Half Under Way
The Ingersoll Peewee #3, Carmeuse Lime and Stone started the 2nd half of the season off versus Waterford Wildcats #2.
The Ingersoll team lead by Adam DeBruyn jumped out to a 1st period 2-0 lead as DeBruyn scored 2 unassisted goals 48 seconds apart. Things looked very positive to begin the 2nd half on a solid wining note.
In the 2nd period Waterford pulled within 1 when Connor McKenzie picked up a loose puck in the neutral zone, skated in and fired a hard wrist shot over the glove of Brady Harris, who was in goal for Ingersoll.
Ingersoll would take a 1 goal advantage into the 3rd period. Waterford would square the game when Ambose Emmett-Iwomin fired a shot from the corner off an Ingersoll defenseman's skate to tie it and then McKenzie took things into his own hands scoring 2 more times to lift Waterford to a 2 goal victory.
Hustler of the game for the Ingersoll squad was John Ryan who has been playing strong for a number of games and continued his fine efforts tonight.
