BUTTERWORTHS ESSO PEEWEE LL TEAM IS ON A ROLL

Butterworths travelled to Waterford on Feb.06 for 8:00 p.m. game.Butterworths have been playing some good hockey lately and came outfast in the first period scoring two goals, finishing the first periodtied 2-2.
Both Butterworths goals were scored by Brandon DeBruyne. Butterworths took a 4-3 lead at the end of the second period. Butterworths goals were scored by Coulton Cameron assisted by JonathanAndrews and by Brody Sanderson unassisted. Both teams played a goodthird period with the game ending in a 5-5 tie. Butterworths scoringin the third period was from Brody Sanderson unassisted.
On Feb.07 Butterworths travelled into Langton to play a 9:00a.m. game against a tough, hard hitting, Langton team and proved theywere up for this one by out skating out hitting and out scoring theiropponent. Butterworths three goals in the first period by CoultonCameron from Owen Hill, Brady Soetermans from Brandon DeBruyne andBruce Mathies and the third goal was scored by Owen Hill unassisted.Entering the second period with a 3-1 lead Butterworths took control ofthe game with two more goals from Brody Sanderson unassisted and fromTristen Koster assisted by Dylan Currie finishing the second period ontop 5-1. In the third period Butterworths held Langton to a lateperiod goal, winning this one by a score of 5-2.
